Nokia 6820 & Variants
When dismantling any phone, great care should be taken to ensure that no damage is caused to any of the parts. Rough handling may result in severe damage of many parts, and if proper anti-static procedures are not followed, electrostatic damage may result in any electronic component.

that you are supposed to use a new frame when reassembling the handset!

able to remove the key mat frame.
Step 24. Remove the key
mat from the flip.
Step 25. Two clips hold
the T9 key mat in place - use your plastic shim to release them.
Step 26. With the clips
released the key pad can be removed.
Step 27. Remove the
co-axial connector taking care not to bend it.
Step 28. Push out the key
pad assembly from the back of the flip.

plastic clips of the locking catch.
Step 32. To remove the
aerial assembly, you'll need to bend the chassis slightly at position (1), and
then lift it away in the direction of (2).
Step 33. Remove the SIM
cover.
Step 34. Release the clips
on both sides of the screen.
Step 35. Pull the modules
apart carefully, and the LCD connector will release.
Step 36. The ear piece is
held in place with double sided tape. You will need to replace the tape if
you remove the ear piece.
Step 37. Take care not to
damage the joystick when placing the main circuit board on a desk for camera
removal.
Step 38. The pictures for
removal of the camera are included here for the sake of completeness. If
you don't have the correct tools to remove the camera, leave it alone!
Step 39. Reassembly is a simple reversal of the above steps taking extra time to ensure that everything works as it should, and that you have caused no damage whilst inside the handset.
