Ericsson A2618 & Variants

When dismantling any phone, great care should be taken to ensure that no damage is caused to any of the parts.  Rough handling may result in severe damage of many parts, and if proper anti-static procedures are not followed, electrostatic damage may result in any electronic component.

Before commencing the work, it is suggested that you purchase the correct tools for the job at hand.  At the very least, you will require a Torx T6 screwdriver.

As can't remember dismantling one of these (even though I'm sure I have), I'm simply going to place the pictures here, in order.  The procedure doesn't look too different to most other Ericsson phones, but as ever it is up to you to decide if you are capable of taking on the work.

If anyone wants to send me one of these for the purposes of re-compiling this guide, please contact me.
